It's time to save your place for the next installment of the SLW Life Sciences Webinar Series. In the February 11 episode, Janal Kalis will discuss “What We Can Learn about Technology Landscapes from Patent Citation Analyses—Case Study of Lithium Ion Battery Patents.”

This webinar explores metrics that a company can use to identify context of a patented invention within a particular technology landscape.  The context includes identifying inventions that may be of value to particular companies;  inventions for which commercialization should be pursued with caution—or not pursued at all;  and technology areas in which an invention may be adopted.  These metrics will be studied using a history of some of the most famous lithium ion battery patents.
