The presentation also explores federal and provincial IP funding programs available to companies with Canadian operations.

Your speaker for this webinar will be Matt Norwood. Matt is a patent attorney at SLW. His practice is focused on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Matt is a seasoned barrister with experience litigating intellectual property disputes in the Canadian courts and before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. In addition to patent prosecution and IP litigation, Matt also has considerable expertise in the field of open source software licensing.

Maureen Kinsler, Executive Director of SLW, will moderate. Maureen is a UK and European patent attorney with 30 years of experience advising high-tech companies, ranging from start-ups to multinationals.
